City transportation / Taxi

Bucharest's public transport network is extensive, covering all of the city as well as much of its surroundings. It is also very cheap to use. We highly recommend the Metro which is effective and cheap. Please click here to download the bus & tram map. Please click here to download the metro map. Taxis are cheap to  use. We highly recommend to only use taxis with the price written on the door 1km = 1.4 Lei. By night the price doubles.
