The official language of the Conference is English. In one of conference rooms all lectures (3 days) will be translated into Croatian language (will be published in Programme scheme).

Service Desk 

Accommodation, airport transfers, pre and post tours and Certificates
The desk will be located on the right hand side after entering the main entrance of the Hotel where you may receive information about accommodation, book an airport transfer or pre/post tour and collect certficate on the last day of the Conference.

Name badges

Collect your conference kit and name badge from the registration desk on arrival. A name badge is required for admittance to all official conference sessions and events according to the type of registration. Name badge must be collected by the registered person during the registration desk opening hours. A proof of identity will be needed e.g. passport or any photo ID). It cannot be collected or used by anyone other than the person registered and named on the badge. If you are prevented from attending, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Name changes should be notified in writing to Conference Secretariat. A handling fee of 20 € will be charged for each name change. Lost badges will be replaced for registered participants presenting an ID, at a replacement fee of 20 €.

Guest attendance policy 

All event activities (including educational sessions, meal functions, exhibit hall, etc.) are exclusively reserved for registered attendees. Non-registered guests (including children, family members, colleagues, etc.) are not allowed in any of the event areas. Badges provided at registration are required for entrance into all functions and will be strictly enforced.

CE Accreditation

The EERVC will apply for CE accreditation. 

Insurance and Liability

The Conference organizer shall not be held liable for personal injury or any loss or damage to the belongings of conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference. Please check the validity of your own insurance.

Official Letter of Invitation

Official letters of invitation designed to facilitate Travel arrangement will be sent on request. It must be understood that such letters do not represent a commitment for the part of the Organizing Committee or Conference to provide any financial assistance. An official invitation letter will be created and sent to you by e-mail within 24h. Please contact EERVC Secretariat for assistance.

Coffee and Lunch Breaks

All coffee breaks and lunch packages are included in the conference fee. Coffee breaks and lunch packages will be served in the Exhibition area as per the times indicated in the timetable, (see exhibition floor plan with catering stations). Vouchers are provided as part of the registration package. Please present your Lunch Voucher to collect your lunch box.


Free WiFi is available throughout the Hotel (lecture halls and exhibition area).

Safety and security 

Please do not leave your personal belongings, bags or suitcases unattended at anytime. 


A passport or an identification document recognised by international agreements is needed. For more information please visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Croatia: It is your responsibility to check if you need a visa to enter Croatia. Please check for details at the Croatian Embassy or Consulate in your country. No visa is required for nationals of the USA and EU.

General opening hours in Croatia

Banks and post offices are normally open from 7:00 or 7:30 A.M. to 7:00 or 8:00 P.M. Non-governmental offices work from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday to Friday. Most grocery stores and department stores are open non-stop, from 6:00 or 7:30 A.M. to 7.30 or 8:00 P.M.

Currency and exchange

The basic Croatian currency unit is the Kuna, which comprises 100 Lipa. Foreign currency can be exchanged for local money at banks, post offices and exchange offices, according to the valid exchange rates. Visit the exchange office online for valid exchange rates.

Credit Cards   

All major credit cards are normally accepted throughout Croatia, as advertised at points of sale, such as: American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa, JCB, and Eurocheques. Traveller's Cheques are also accepted.
